Wow! I’ve been to a lot of guitar shops but this one is the best. The store is beautiful for starters. They have more high end boutique acoustics than I have ever seen. The best part is you’re allowed to touch and play whatever you want without supervision. I’m sure this was a hard decision by the owners but to me it’s the right decision. Would love to have some sound proof booths so I don’t have to let everyone hear how bad I am but that’s a me problem. :) I doubt this will ever be topped.

The people are very friendly and chatty even if you are not a great musician. The answer questions clearly. The variety of inventory is terrific and there is a broad range of price points for different budgets. I went in to shop for a mandolin and they were happy to let me pick up everything and play it. They even fetched some instruments from the back because I expressed curiosity about them. Overall, I was very impressed.

Excellent job!! I'm always a little hesitant to buy expensive instruments online. But I took a chance on a nice Hawaiian ukulele from the Music Emporium. I could not be more satisfied with the result!! My order shipped the very same day and I received it UPS in less than 24 hours! It was packaged super securely and was in perfect condition! I'm extremely satisfied and will have no doubts in the future about buying from them again! Very professional! Thanks!!

If it were possible to rate Music Emporium with more than 5 stars, I would. Ian was super knowledgeable and a delight to work with from start to finish. He showed me quite a few options and really listened to my feedback. The owner, Joe, was also great when he came by to chat. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a guitar.

Such a cool place with so many amazing instruments! I found my guitar that I hope I will keep for life. A nice young lady Rachel helped me through the selection process and was extremely patient and helpful in letting me try things so I could really settle in with the sound and feel of the guitars. I look forward to going back here for some more guitars one day. It is worth the visit if nothing else to meet some nice people and play some amazing instruments.

This is the kind of music store that makes you want to be a better player. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, personable and professional. The atmosphere is relaxed and obviously holds your attention. They offer an amazing collection of old And new, and it would be very difficult to go into this store and not want them all . The Music Emporium is the best music store on the entire eastern seaboard., period
